The Cape May County Library is looking for Teen Volunteers for the 2022-2023 School-Year. This year, the Teen Dept. will be instituting an interview process to help give teens some real-life interview skills. For more information on how to apply, please email the Teen Dept. [email protected] Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis as positions become available. If no positions are available, we will be happy to place you on a wait-list. Volunteering will begin during the week of September 19th.

Cape May Court House: 2 Openings.Teen Department Helper: Straightens Teen Area, Shelf-reads, Shelves and Straightens books in Teen and other areas, Stickers new books, Creates, hangs and takes down decorations, Creates Take-n-Make kits as well as craft examples, Tests upcoming escape rooms, and other projects as assigned.
Lower Township: 1 Opening: Collaborate with Ms. Susan to maintain the teen and children's area, shelf read, create book displays and teen decorations for the teen area, shelve books, create craft examples, and other special projects as assigned. Wednesday availability only

Woodbine: 0 Openings: CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES! Library Helper: Assists the Woodbine Library with general tasks and events. Reports directly to Carol Kopp, branch manager. This volunteer position assists the staff in various projects and tasks including but not limited to: Shelf-reading, shelving books, making decorations, creating book displays, cleaning and straightening of library space, and other special projects as assigned.
