Program Information

Open to teens ages 12-17.

The Cape May County Library is looking for Teen Volunteers! Contact a participating branch to sign up for orientation. After orientation you can choose from a list of available jobs. You can volunteer for just the summer, through the fall, all year, whatever works for you!

Cape May Court House: 2 Openings

Teen Department VolunteerThis position reports directly to Dave and/or Emily in the Cape May Court House Teen Department. Duties may include: Book display design, decoration creation, shelf-reading, shelving, organization of materials, testing craft kits, and other projects as assigned. Wildwood Crest: 2 Openings

Children's Department Library Page: Assists the Children's Department in general and works on special assignments as assigned. Duties may include: straightening Children's Room (pushing in chairs, picking up trash, refilling giveaways), washing toys, preparing for programs, testing materials, making other projects as assigned. Woodbine: 2 Openings

Library Page Assists the Woodbine Library with general tasks and events. Reports directly to Carol Kopp, branch manager. This volunteer position assists the staff in various projects and tasks including but not limited to: Shelf-reading, shelving books, making decorations, creating book displays, cleaning and straightening of library space, and other special projects as assigned.
